Hey guys! Need your help! My Note 20 Ultra gets hot after playing 10 mins of pokemon go. Both from Google store and Samsung store. The top half of the screen gets really hot! Can someone please help? I have the Canadian version in Canada and running Rogers 5G. Thank you

Hi Bogdan146, When you use features or apps that require more power or use them for extended periods, your device may temporarily heat up due to increased battery consumption. Also, your device may heat up due to the exterior environment conditions(i.e. using for extended periods in very hot areas, storing device in very cold or very hot temperatures, exposure of device to direct sunlight. Etc)

Hi Valeriya. I have used the phone inside my house and outside. It doesn't just temporarily heat up, it stays hot. I just got off the phone with a "manager" from Samsung and she said I have to take it back to my local Samsung repair shop. This will be the third time I am taking it there. This is unbelievable! Some manager! I can't even use my $1600 smartphone. What's the point? Even apple has better customer service.

Hi Bogdan416, Please check and update the game to the latest version and get back to us if the issue still persists.

I have the latest update for both google and Samsung store versions. When I play pvp for example, I get up to 41 degrees Celsius. It's decently hot at that point.

Hi Bogdan416, we request you to check with the app developer again to see if there is any fix available for it.

It never hurts to...

wipe the cache partition first 🤷

If that don't help...

Backup with smartswitch and/or cloud and then factory reset 🤙✌️

Keep in mind as @Valeriya mentioned...
Using your device for extended periods of time will cause your device to heat up, especially if you have a case/cover on it 😬

Also it could be an issue with whatever app your using 🤷

I haven't tried the cache partition thing yet. But I did backup and factory reset.

I don't know Pokemon game but you could try to see if you can put a lower screen resolution in the

Pokemon game settings..

If you already did a back-up and a Factory Reset,  wipe cache partition won't help...but if you want to try it...

Wipe cache partition

Press the Volume down key several times to highlight Wipe cache partition. -

Then, press the Power key to select. -

Press the Volume down key to highlight Yes, then press the Power key to select. - When the process is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted. -

Press the Power key to restart the device
