How can i change the status bar to black text?

@iFlYSoLo Yup & it's Awesome - The first install takes a bit of time - Make sure that you don't have any Samsung Themes installed - Updates are smooth & the Devs are simply AMAZING - Constant development & regular updates & patience beyond belief! 👍

@IflySolO - Yes exactly - You need to be on the Stock Samsung Theme - ie: Uninstall everything that is running which you downloaded from the Samsung theme store - Otherwise you're going to have some conflicts with unexpected results.
No - You certainly don't sound "dumb" - Intelligent people ask questions BEFORE - Not after 😉😇

@IflySolO - It's also a good idea to have USB Debugging enabled on your phone when installing Themes & Particularly when you install an OTA - Since all Overlays must be Uninstalled BEFORE applying the OTA - In the unlikely event of any issues - You can run the Rescue script to Uninstall all Overlays - You may want to join Swift's Telegram Group - The Devs & Admins are terrific & support is awesome

I forgot that Swift Installer manages to force the dark status bar. And I use Swift Installer lol.

@ShaggyskunkS9P oh boy! I get the themes part... your second comment about OTA and debugger and aliens.. I am swimming ... I don't have any overlays lol whatever that means.. I can barely install a theme right haha!! I downloaded it..let's give it a shot!

@IflySolO - "Overlays" are what is installed with Swift Installer (gives you the Themes) 😉
Running the Rescue script is quite straightforward - You downloaded it to your computer - Extract it - Read the included readme.txt and then - If you want/need to use it - You just run the bat file in the Rescue script 👍 - I do recommend that you join the Swift Telegram Group - There's a link in the Play Store description of Swift Installer 🐧

BTW @Cprice is using Swift Installer on his Note9 if you want a second opinion 🙃

@ShaggyskunkS9P that swift thing did all apps but Google. it wouldn't pick it up. my version is apparently too new for it..I am on 8.23 and looks it hasn't caught up.. is that the case with yours? Thanks
