iPhone messages reactions on Note 20 Ultra?

I'm on the newest beta of Google Messages (version 20220126_03_RC00) and iPhone message reaction (translations) were supposed to work as of the previous build.

A few of the articles online using the S21 Ultra showcased images that looked much different to what I'm seeing.

Is anybody seeing these kinds of reactions on their Note 20 Ultra, versus the pic that I attached below?

How come your app says "via Koodo" I don't have that either

I am using both eSIM and a physical SIM on my phone, and 'Koodo' is the name I gave to the eSIM.

check to see if you have a toggle for iMessage reaction in the "Advanced" settings category

I read another article today that apparently the roll out so far has been to "select Pixel phones." So I could be mistaken about the whole S21 thing.

Google's whole server-side deployment strategy is so ... frustrating at times...

Hi, can you please check with the below steps and check if the issue still persists.

Head over to Settings >> Advanced and toggle “show iPhone reaction as emoji” off.
