Issues with Spotify on Pie

Just wondering if anyone else encountered this bug when spotify cuts out for a split second when turning off the screen?

Like the audio will cut when you turn off the screen?

I've got no issues with Spotify (premium) and music saved to my external sd card - Crackling noise could be from any Screen Off sound you may have.

definitely not screen off noise , only happens with headphones

Could be the Connection to the Headphones is picking up the screen off change..
