Galaxy NoteMy wife and I purchased Note 8s from T-Mobile at the same time. Saturday I installed the latest update. Yesterday I found that the Mobile Hostspot and Tethering menu item under Connection settings was gone. I contacted T-Mobile who verified that the feature is included in our plan. Rebooting did not fix it. Resetting network settings likewise did not fix it. My wife's phone had not yet updated. The menu item was still there. This afternoon it updated and sure enough, it's gone now. Sounds like a bad update. Is anyone else seeing this issue?

Galaxy NoteYou know that this is the Canadian Samsung Members group?
If you're using Tmo devices in Canada, then you won't likely get any support from Samsung Canada.

Galaxy NoteHi, it is possible that a third-party app is causing the issue. Please perform safe mode and see if it solves the issue.
To enter Safe Mode, please perform the following:
1.First, completely power off the phone.
2.Then, power on the phone and when the Samsung logo appears, press and hold down the Volume down key.
3.If done correctly, "Safe Mode" will display on the bottom left corner of the screen. If "Safe Mode" does not appear, repeat the steps above.
4.Once you are in Safe Mode, you can remove the third-party app that is causing issues on your phone.
5.To exit Safe Mode, simply restart your phone and it will reboot normally.

Galaxy NoteI didn't realize this is a Canadian forum, but thank you for the useful tip!
