I have a big but stupid problem. I very recently upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ to replace the Galaxy S9+ I am fairly tech savvy and all my phones in past 15 years have been Samsung Galaxy except the first one was a Black Berry. Problem.... after going thru the whole process of setting up the Note, believing as before that all my apps etc were transferred the problem app turns out to be my long time Samsung Mail app.  Never even thought to check but after I was all finished transferring files, I reset the S9+ to factory as usual, to give to a family member or friend.
This where the crap hit the fan!  Also the stupidity of an oldbroad for nor double checking.  I have lost all the emails Sent & all that I had Saved. Is there anything I can do to recover those files? I'd would have to say NO!
But I don't know everything. Any hope would be appreciated. Cheers oldbroad Angela.

Hello Oldbroad, allow me to add some information here.

It depends on how you setting up the Samsung Email app. Samsung Email app is just an Email client. It won't store your email data. It rely on Synchronize to show your data.

1. If you lost email files, you can do what mytech suggest, make sure you sync the email again. If your email account is hotmail, gmail or using your ISP email account, you can login to webmail to verify is your email still exist in your inbox. If yes, all you need to do in your new phone is remove the email account from Samsung Email client, add the email account back and it will re-sync your inbox/ sent/ deleted email back to your phone.

2. If you created bunch of folders under Samsung Email client and you saved all these email under these folders. Unfortunately, you cannot get them back because these folders will not sync to your mail account by default.

I hope I did answer your question since I don't know which situation you are.

Hi Oldbroad, I saw your previous post, you are using shaw. You can login to webmail.shaw.ca to check your inbox and see if your email still there or not. If they are still there, you still able to sync them back.

I hate email addresses given by service providers 🤦
As soon as you cancel your service with them your email is gone, poofy poofy , bye bye
Go with Gmail or hotmail please ✌️🤙👍
