Xender is a data-harvesting file transfer app. You don't need it on your phone. You can use WiFi Direct instead since that's what the app does for you, not without serving ads and harvesting your data. This is guaranteed to increase the power consumption of your device, and thus increase heat.

Wi-Fi Direct is a wireless technology that enables Wi-Fi Direct devices to establish a direct Wi-Fi connection over which the two can send and receive files. To get started with sending files over Wi-Fi direct, follow the instructions below on connecting two mobile devices using Wi-Fi Direct:

Open Settings >> Connections >> Tap on Wi-Fi(Ensure your Wi-Fi is enabled as you will need to turn this setting on to access your Wi-Fi Direct settings as well as share files wirelessly) >> Select Wi-Fi Direct >>

Locate and select the device you would like to connect to(Ensure both devices have turned on the Wi-Fi Settings so the two can successfully locate each other) >> On the receiving device, Accept the sharing request.

To disconnect the devices, simply touch the connected device's name.

I hope it will help you.

Thanks, CHMultimedia, for sharing the details.
