I have the Note 10 Plus and since updating to One UI 4.0 I can no longer update any apps from the play store, or install new ones, any idea if this issue is common or did something just break during the update? Another issue I'm experiencing is when I use Facebook chat heads, nothing else on the screen responds for up to 10 seconds after closing the chat head

Hi, we suggest you to perform wipe cache partition. Below are the steps to perform clear cache partition.

  1. Turn off the unit.
  2. Press and hold the volume up button and press and hold the on/off button.
  3. When the Android logo is displayed, release all keys ("Installing system update" is displayed before displaying the Android system recovery menu options).
  4. Press the volume down key repeatedly to highlight "wipe cache partition".
  5. Press the Power key to select.
  6. Press the Volume Down button to highlight "Yes" and press the Power button to select.
  7. When the wiping of the cache partition is completed, "Reboot System Now" is highlighted.
  8. Press the Power button to reboot the unit.

I have tried that, only thing I haven't tried is preforming a factory reset, but I'm still met with these kind of notifications when I attempt to update, some of my updates have been there since late January Screenshot_20220306-172656_Google Play Store.jpg

Reynaud, this doesn't work.

I am facing exactly the same problem as Mr. Pocket. Not only that I couldn't install new Apps, but I couldn't even update my existing Apps after upgrading to OneUI4.0.

I believe Mr. Pocket tried every possible solution before posting in Samsung Community in despair. My friends and I who are using Note 10+ on ONEUI4.0 were unable to resolve this issue as well after trying all sort of methods for several hours.

This is a new issue. I hope Samsung addresses the issue specifically to help us out of this difficult situation.

Not every solution. Last resort is factory reset (which most users, understandably, don't want to do). I do not experience these issues and I'm running latest update and OneUI 4.0 on Note 10+. However, since this was a major OS upgrade, I did perform a factory reset through recovery console.

As you had mentioned the factory reset was a last resort and I had mentioned it was the only thing I hadn't tried, I have since done that and my apps are able to be updated now, but I'm still experiencing the issue when I'm using something that draws over other apps making the rest of my screen non-responsive for 5-10 seconds after it closes, Facebook Chat Heads are the most common example

Hi All,

I'm having the same exact issue and js not able to install new apps now..

Any soution from Samsung? I really hate to perform the factory reset...

I've tried all suggested actions but nothing works.. save for the last drastic step of factory reset.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Haven't experienced Google Play issues with Note 10+ on One UI 4.0 Android 12. Check security app and/or VPN if using them. Lately, Google Play doesn't play nice with them active and can cause the issue you are experiencing.

I only use a VPN when my work profile is active, other than that I don't have any additional security that doesn't come stock on the phone, I also experienced the same issues I'm still having on the beta and thought it was just a bug in the beta
