Note 8 compensation for Note 7 users

It's finally here! Canada has received it's long awaited compensation for Note 7 users. Check your emails for one from Samsung, if you purchased a Note 8 and had the Note 7 you'll be eligible for a 200$ MasterCard gift card! Thought it was a scam but another user posted receiving it as well.

This deal is way better then the one in other countries, for once we didn't get shafted so THANK YOU SAMSUNG CANADA! This is incredibly generous 😊

MobileSyrup says that apparently the offer is eligible to anyone who had any Note device and upgrade to the Note 8 but I can't confirm. Basically, it's not just for Note 7 users.

seem to work but only receive one email for 2 device is this normal (2 different Samsung account)? should i Wait for other or fill the same? and provider doesnt wrote imei on invoice is this ok to send it that way ?

You can try but I believe you should have an invoice that contains the imei, if you can manage to upload multiple pictures that might help cause then you can show the imei in a different picture

The IMEI bug seems to be ironed out. I got through the submission process without problem. I haven't received a confirmation email yet, though. Now to decide if it's going toward a Gear 360 or a new Gear VR (I'm disappointed that the Gear VR I got for Christmas 2016 is too small to fit my Note 8. Not even a full year of use. Sigh.)

but a Samsung members chat person told me that it is not a Samsung approved site and cannot tells me how to have me offer code cause I didn't received it by mail. So I'll wait if I will receive my code within a few days ...
