note 8 hdr Netflix issues

I'm loving my Note8! I have one question, when watching HDR videos on YouTube I can instantly tell the difference. however, when watching videos on Netflix with the HDR tag, they look identical to their SDR counterparts. is there something I'm missing here? anybody else noticed the same issues?

Is your screen resolution set to WQHD and Adaptive Display?

Yeah. I can't really tell the difference between HDR and 1080p HD viewing side by side.
