Galaxy NoteSounds like it's overheating. Have you tried lowering the settings see if it goes longer without freezing?

When you use features or apps that require more power or use them for extended periods, your device may temporarily heat up due to increased battery consumption. Close any other running apps.
Please do the clear cache and data of the Call of duty app.
Go to settings>>Apps>>Select the Call of Duty app>> Storage>>Clear cache and Clear Data.
Note: Clearing the data will reset the app to factory default settings. Any personal settings saved on the app will be removed.
If the issue persists, you can do the wipe cache partition of the phone by following below steps and check if it works, get back us with the results.
1. Turn off the device.
2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby / Power key.
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. An 'Installing system update' message will show before the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Bixby / Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, then and press the Bixby / Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Bixby / Power key to restart the device.
