Please for the love of something.... stop changing things that dont need to be changed. Please place back phone alphabetically list in contacts so I dont have to scroll through 100s of numbers that I could have found through selecting a letter. Scrolling lovers can still scroll, but older ppl that are most effective and efficient with the list back at the right hand edge. If there is a feature to turn it back on please tell me.
OP is looking to find contacts immediately by selecting a letter and going right to the contacts contained in that letter. This is quick and saves time from having to scroll through entire contact lists trying to get to the one contact (especially if it's at the end of the list).
@Linen start scrolling through your contacts. Once you started scrolling, you will notice an alphabet (A-Z) vertical bar to the right side of the contacts. Lift your finger off the screen and place it on top of the A-Z bar and scroll up/down the A-Z bar. This will allow you to scroll by letter and there will be an indicator bubble with the letter to let you know what letter you are at as you scroll the A-Z bar.
