So I updated to android 12 note 20 ultra a few days ago and noticed when sending a email in Gmail app while I'm typing the phone will freeze and just hang. Then start working again but when I go and click send nothing happens and then it hangs and then it sends the mail.
Just recently noticed I'm on Facebook and I go and type a message the app will freeze in the middle of typing and then a box pops up saying Facebook isn't responding do I want to wait or close.
This happens now evertime I go on Facebook and hit or miss on email. Not sure of why else I just notice on those for now.
I've updated apps.
I've booted into the menu and clear cache
Anything else I can try or anyone else having this issue?
Try boot into recovery mode and clear cache partition
- Power off your phone - Press and hold vol up and power key until you are in recovery mode - use vol up and down to navigate - select Wipe Cache Partotion - press power key to confirm - click yes - click reboot system
next, make sure all your apps up to date , check google playstore and Samsung galaxy store.
If above suggestion not working, you may need to do a full backup (Smart Switch] and factory reset.
I did the recovery cache clear as stated above but was drawing a blank when typing and put I went into the menu haha. Did the cache clear in recovery twice and all apps are updated.
I've been doing different things all morning and I think it may be caused from the Samsung keyboard. I'm trying gboard now to see if I get issue
Well...factory reset maybe an option. I am using Note20 Ultra too. I do not have app freeze or crash problem after factory reset. Unless this is not an option for you.
