Galaxy NoteIf there is a phone number, could be contact app set email address as default.
When I try to reproduce your problem, message app ask me select phone or email. And I can set it as default too. Could be you did click set as default for email before. Try set phone number as default for the contact and test again.
Edit:
I never tried set anyone as default before. This could be resolved by clear cache and data from Samsung Messages app (set the app back to default settings).
Settings → Apps → Messages → Storage
Clear data & clear cache

Galaxy NoteThanks Tallman.
Hi BloodWolfe, Please try the resolution provided by Tallman. If you still experiencing the issue, then please try opening the Messages app >> choose the recipient from the contact list >> touch the (+) icon to add the image and press send and check if you can send the MMS successfully.

Galaxy NoteThink I'll try deleting the contacts that are having this problem and add them back manually and see.from there. I've never seen this before so very strange.
