Small circle with X inside at bottom of screen

Probably once a week or more a small white circle with an X inside it appears at the bottom of the screen. There is nothing to indicate a cause, it cannot be dismissed, and this time went away about five minutes after it appeared as mysteriously as it appeared.

See the attached images... the area inside the red is inaccessible while the circle is visible. All icons and keyboard items are affected by the circle. It appears over every app opened.

I did see one app that shows that x in a circle....it was a the Shazam app when a new feature was released called pop up Shazam. when you hold Shazam you can drag and drop it to the x to close it...

lol... i just tried it now and voila! I see the icon..
taking it off immediately

Hey @BillieBob, to help us troubleshoot, could you please submit a device error log when this happens again? From the Samsung Members application, tap the “Feedback” icon. Tap the Pen icon and then submit an “Error report”. Thanks!

Do you use the Text Now App. That's what was causing it for me. App was somehow set to display over over other apps. Just turned it off and it went away.

FYI ....that x inside a circle hovering on the bottom part of my Android keyboard went away as soon as i uninstalled google translate.

You have a floating app on the screen. You can close the app by pulling it over the X.
