wifi turning off when screen is off?

guys! anyone experiencing the same issue as mine? my wifi on note 8 is turning off while screen is off on standby? any solutions? i checked the wifi settings and ir is set to always on.. thank you..

it could be due to your phone's connection problems or the internet motem, you should try contacting Samsung or you internet provider!

That's the same behavior I have with my S8. Seems like it's done to save battery power

If that's the case - you might want to check your power saving settings... If you have it set to Max Save it kind of defeats the performance a usability of the phone IMHO

Hi gokongming, please click Settings → Device Maintenance → Battery. You will see power saving mode there.

Hi gokongming, I mis-read your question. I think you are looking for Keep WiFi on during sleep.

Please go to Settings → Connections → WiFi → Advanced (right hand top corner) → keep WiFi on during sleep (Make sure you choose ALWAYS). Try this.

Ok, I think this is not the phone issue as battery is not in saving mode and keep WiFi on is set to always. Maybe you need to look at other related installed apps. I can't check your phone and can't determine.
