2019 was a sad year in terms of updates.

Hopefully 2020, samsung will shine by letting s9 get android 11 and sending updates more faster.

Sad? They released then faster than they ever did! They have improved a lot this year. In fact they were too fast to my liking and they should take time to release a bug-free update.

perhaps. I'm a first time android user so I dont really know much. I came from iphone SE. But, samsung is kind of slow for releasing updates, they release them like 5 months after google does. I do see that samsung releases their own skin, and that takes some time but that shan't hinder their update productivity. I mean, I have an S9-960W and I'm still on november 25 security patch. See, that requires attention know.

The December patch is available for the S9 but not for Rogers and Fido somehow.
