Hey everyone!
I've recently purchased Anker 45w charger for my S23 ultra. Since it comes with only charging cable in the box, I'm using it with that new charger.
My question is: do I need a different charging cable or the standard one is capable of delivering power from any charger block?!
The reason I asked is because when I plug my old charger(standard for s20 ultra) and this new Anker, I don't see the difference in estimated time for a full charge.
Thanks in advance

Just to clarify, your device supports 45w charging "out of the box". But the supplied cable is only capable of charging at 25w

From Samsung's site:

"You will also need a 45W Travel Adapter. Super-fast charging cannot be performed using standard chargers. We recommend using the USB Type-C, 5A charging cable that comes with the 45w charger."

So you need a Type C, 5A charging cable for the 45w charging block.

I don't think that using a 45w charging block will change the speed at which the battery charges.

It's likely software limited for safety & battery protection.

Check in Device Care > Battery & Click on the Battery > More Battery Settings & just check that you have "Super Fast Charging" Toggled ON.

It was on since I transferred all my settings and data from old s20 ultra.
According to many trusted YouTube channels it will change the speed it gonna charge to 30%, if comparing regular and 45w chargers. Was curious if it has anything to do with the cable itself.
