Galaxy SJust to clarify, your device supports 45w charging "out of the box". But the supplied cable is only capable of charging at 25w
From Samsung's site:
"You will also need a 45W Travel Adapter. Super-fast charging cannot be performed using standard chargers. We recommend using the USB Type-C, 5A charging cable that comes with the 45w charger."
So you need a Type C, 5A charging cable for the 45w charging block.

Galaxy SI don't think that using a 45w charging block will change the speed at which the battery charges.
It's likely software limited for safety & battery protection.
Check in Device Care > Battery & Click on the Battery > More Battery Settings & just check that you have "Super Fast Charging" Toggled ON.

Galaxy SAccording to many trusted YouTube channels it will change the speed it gonna charge to 30%, if comparing regular and 45w chargers. Was curious if it has anything to do with the cable itself.
