Galaxy S
In 2024, it is reasonable to expect flagship phones to have a screen-to-body ratio of at least 92%. However, Samsung has been decreasing this ratio in conjunction with their curved screens. While the S24 Ultra features a flat screen, the bezels remain unnecessarily thick, even thicker than those on the S24 and S24+. This is particularly noticeable on the ultra phone, which costs $100 more than last year's model and should therefore have the highest screen-to-body ratio. In contrast, the S24 and S24+ have a screen-to-body ratio of nearly 91%, which is a significant difference. It is possible to have a flat screen with a high screen-to-body ratio, as demonstrated by numerous smartphones with flat displays and 95% screen-to-body ratios, featuring equal bezels on all four sides. Samsung could have maintained the 19.3:9 aspect ratio in the flat display, which would have resulted in a screen-to-body ratio of approximately 93-94%, or they could have slightly reduced the width of the device. It is hoped that the S25 Ultra will have a 95% screen-to-body ratio, as it is somewhat incongruous that the Note 10+ has a higher screen-to-body ratio.

Galaxy SHi qwer123, thank you for your suggestion regarding the screen-to-body ratio, and we will bring this to the attention of the relevant team. We hope that future product designs will be able to reflect this.
