Airmiles Scan Issue

I don't know if anyone else is facing same issue but on my S8 when i enter my airmiles card number it append "5" at the end when i try to scan my card and because of that i am not able to scan it. It stores Airmiles card number fine but only append number "5" when i tap to use it.

Hey Wonchul,
So, when i click tap to use card, it append number "5" after my actual card number which is xxxx *** xxxx and making it 12 digits so when i scan my card from Samsung pay it doesn't scan. And this only happens with Airmiles Card. All other cards work fine

Does your Air Miles number card contain that 5? It seems like app is reading that '5' as a card digit. Did you try doing it manually? It shouldn't be adding any number automatically.

Yeah i tried it manually but same result. In card number it is correct but when you try to use it by scan it adds extra number at end

I just checked my airmails card too within the Samsung Pay and I also have an extra number making it 12 digits instead of 11 however my extra number is 6... very odd.
I then opened up Samsung pay again swiped down and left under memberships till I find the airmiles card. under card number it has the correct number but when I tap to use card and then tap on barcode that is where I see 12 digits which mine is a 6

Yeah looks like there is some bug

my extra number is a 9.. i think this is how samsung pay works to let airmiles know that samsung pay was used vs google pay or apple pay or airmiles app. In my case its worked everywhere so far. even better than other the digital wallets...I guess its specially important this extra digit as right now there is an airmiles promo. so airmiles really needs to know which digital wallet was used to award you the extra points

Hmmm i wonder why scan does not work then. I will try again today and see if it works.

i might be wrong though... but otherwise i wouldnt know how airmiles would know which app was used...
