Galaxy SIf you're talking about the S21 Series, it was briefly delayed because of a UI glitch.
It's TENTATIVELY scheduled for December 6th.
Just an FYI, On occasion (as rare as it may be) Canadian Carriers have released an Android version update BEFORE some of the US Carriers.
If you're asking about a different device, the TENTATIVE schedule has been posted here for other eligible devices.
But from past experience, any dates are always subject to change.

Galaxy SThis screen shot shows the recent issues with One UI V4.0.
Some may be for the Exynos variant (not ours), or the Snapdragon variant, which is what we have in Canada & the US.
Note that these issues are on the STABLE version & not the Betas.
Aside from the reported issues and, hopefully all fixed in the Canadian release.. (Which COULD be delayed again, but that's just a guess), With every Android version update, there's always some people who are crying about something they don't like, and want to revert to the previous version..

Galaxy SIPhone has it. So they cannot say it depends on carriers.

Galaxy SOne UI V4.0 has eSIM in the US, but in Canada, it literally DEPENDS on what arrangements exist between Samsung & the Canadian Carriers.
It's long been pretty obvious, that Apple receives preferential treatment from the Canadian Carriers. Just go to one of their websites & iPhone is the first thing that appears.
There's zero difference in Hardware between the Canadian & and the US devices.. So

Galaxy SNot necessarily, could just be the agreements in place, or maybe Apple is just really greedy, greedier than Samsung..
