I don't think there is a beta coming to Canada. it's still be tested on the s8 in the US so hopefully in the next few months

We are still waiting for Oreo to be released on S8 so with that being said, we may not see Oreo on S7 until Q3 of 2018

Last year, it was Q1 2018 for S6 Nougat (May in Canada), and since the S9 is getting an earlier MWC announcement in February, I think it might be at about that time.

hi minecu24, there is an app called power toggles in play store (by painless apps) and i have been using it for 4 years now, it is easy to use. you can try it. the only thing is when you click it to turn it off, the color doesn't change immediately but it's off already as you can't no longer see the icon in the notification bar.
