Hi,
Can I upgrade my Samsung galaxy S7 edge with Android version 8 to Version 10?

If yes, how do I go about it.

Hi EmmyKal,

If there is any software update available for your device you can check it by following the below path:

Open Settings >> About device >> Software update >> If Available then >> Update now.

Software upgrades may be available for your device and will enhance functionality and security. However, updates are device dependant and not every Samsung device will run the latest Android version.

Software updates fall into two general types:  operating system updates and security updates. Please note that the type and version of the update available will depend on your model.

For Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Android 10 is not available.

The highest you can go semi-officially is Android Pie 9.0 with a ROM based on the Note FE's Pie firmware. There are unofficial ROMs out there too, and as the S7 was the last flagship sold in Canada with this marvelous thing called an unlocked bootloader, you can use them.

That's literally what I said. A custom ROM. It's not official firmware. You can't flash it directly since the E8890 and E9810 aren't software-compatible

hello
actually samsung phones only get 2 major updates and as the Galaxy S7/S7 edge got android 7 and 8 it's not eligible to get an other version despite of being fully capable of supporting it .
So neither the S7 series neither the S8 is getting android 10 .
