Can't stand having my app search bar and spotify lock screen widget on the bottom of the screen with no option to change it. Hate all the forced AI stuff that you can't fully turn off no matter how hard you try. I find the new notification bar finnicky to navigate, keep accidentally opening my settings shortcuts when I don't want to and having trouble opening them when I do. Just feels like a bunch of unnecessary changes were made to things that worked fine and didn't need to be fixed, that ultimately just made the UI more annoying than it was before. Also personally I just hate the way my app icons and widgets were redesigned - ugly.

If you mean the notification bar can open settings or notifications depending on the side you swipe down on, that can be fixed by setting the panel to "together" instead of separate. I made a quick video about it I can share if that's what you meant. The rest of the stuff, we're stuck with right now 😐
Yeah I saw a post about how to do that after I posted this one, thank you tho! Still don't love that it was an automatic opt in with no mention on how to change it tho 😕
Exactly. When you swipe down one way literally thousands of times, to get that new style as the default without asking for user preference is pretty dumb and the opposite or good UI.
I hate the new layout. I contacted support to see if I could change the app layout back to horizontal scroll, they advised me to do a "custom order" rather than alphabetical, so I tried that and now I can scroll through my apps horizontally however none of them are alphabetical. When I asked why isn't it both horizontal and alphabetical (my previous way to view apps) they advised me that unfortunately I will have to sort them myself one at a time by moving them. This update is cumbersome; and, as you said, ugly. Hate it.
They ruined everything that didn't need to be changed.. WHERE IS MY MEDIA CONTROL?? sitting up in the corner and getting it in the way of my notifications. I also can't see my clock and battery info or see any of the other navigation buttons I'm pressing because they took away the black bars.
