I am trying to install Roger's app of " The ignite Homeconnect" on to my S23U, unfortunately somehow I got error message of " This item isn't available in your country " . Does anyone know what's going on here and how to fix the installation issue?

If you are not able to install the app via Google play, you can still sideload the app after downloading it via apk mirror, linked below;

Looks like you need to change your Google account country to Canada so you can access Canadian Play Store apps. Follow this, and once you change the country, then you can't change it for 1 year. Are you using any VPN?

No, I don't use VPN. But, my Google Play account was created in US for many years. I am following @TaljitGill's suggestion to change my Google account country.

I changed my country to Canada from the US today. Just tried and it still doesn't work. Wait for Google Server updating my information, then try tomorrow.

@Helenna and @TaljitGill, for your information, somehow I failed to change my country code in Google Play Store after waiting for 48 hours. Therefore, I still can't install the Canadian app. I certainly need to figure out how to change country code.

Try Clearing BOTH Cache & Data for the Play Store & set up a new account. See if that works for you?

Cleaned both Cache and Data of Google Play Store. Unfortunately, the country is still San Jose, CA , US. And there is no option for me to change anymore. I confirmed that the country name on my Google Pay/Wallet and my Google account is Canada. But, the country name on my Google Play Store is US and don't allow me to change it although 2 days ago there was an option of Canada with which I selected .

Try the steps here:

How to change your Google Play country

Your Google Play country determines what content you see in the store and in apps. The apps, games, and other content in the Store and in apps can vary by country.

  • You must wait 12 months after initially creating a payments profile before you can change your Play country. You can only change your Play country once per year. If you change your country, you won’t be able to change it back for one year.
    • When you change your country, you won’t be able to use your Google Play balance that you have in your old country in your new country.
    • You may lose access to some books, movies, TV shows, games, and apps.
  • To change your country, you need to set up a new country in Google Play.
    • To set up a new country, you must be in that country and have a payment method from the new country.
