Hello,

Have there been any recent changes introduced in the latest version of Samsung Internet Browser - v25 onwards in regard to autofill?

Ever since updating to this version of Samsung Internet Browser autofill prompts no longer appear when I tap login fields in any websites. This occurs whether I use 1Password, Bitwarden, Google Password Manager or Dashlane.

When testing in another browser (Chrome), autofill works fine with all these password managers, so it definitely seems like a bug has been introduced in the latest version of Samsung Internet Browser for autofill.

Would you be able to confirm if you are aware of this bug?

This is a duplicate of this issue to increase visibility to Samsung https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/mobile-apps-services/autofill-with-third-party-password-managers...

Thanks

False.

Google password manager works flawlessly on my Samsung Galaxy S23 and has since day 1.

False, this issue has been replicated by 100s of users on the thread I posted. It's 100% do to the latest update to Samsung internet breaking autofill for third party password managers.

Where are these 100s of users?!

Sammovile ONLY reported a specific password manager 2 days prior to your post!

I personally have had Google and Samsung Pass working on my s23 without fail!

So not sure what your setup and sites or apps being affected.

I don't think you understand the issue based on what you are saying.

Samsung Pass and Google password are first party password managers and thus not part of the issue, as the title clearly indicates its for third party password managers and only on the latest Samsung internet build.

Ahhh!
My bad. I consider Google a 3rd party since it's not on by default out of the box. Also Google has 2 methods for Chrome's password manager - one that is built-in (the classic), and one that's web based and jumps into your Google profile (hate that one!)

Curious if Googles fault is related to the desktop Chrome having the web based method enabled and screwing sync and functionality.

Hi, we are sorry to hear that this issue is started after the update. We request you to send us an error report using Samsung members application.

Open the Samsung Members app, and then tap the + key at the bottom right > Tap Error reports > A message will populate for you to choose Always to send the system log data or Just this time. I'm having the exact same issue. It was all working perfectly until I updated to the latest Samsung browser.
