After the last update (June 2021), the battery on my s10e is draining at record speed.  It would usually last at least 2 days prior to the update and now it won't last a single day.  I have removed apps I didn't use, I have put it into battery saving mode, turned off mobile data, reduced brightness, nothing helps.  I downloaded this update on 3 different Samsung phones and only my s10e is affected this way.  Suggestions?

I have not done a wipe cache partition. Does that remove or make changes to any of the info or settings and specialized ring tones I have set up?

You will not lose any of your data or settings by wiping the cache.
As for your charging problems make sure you don't have any debree like lint or something in your charging port on your phone

I have an otter box that seals the charging port....but I will double check it!

Hi, This procedure clears temporary files from your phone's operating system and cleans up any residual files from apps you have uninstalled, to help your phone run smoothly.

Ok! I will try it.....once I get enough of a charge...it just dropped 10% in the last half hour despite not being used....I'm using my fold2 to find a solution.

Georgine, Thank you! I can't say the s10e is back to where it was before, but it is sooo much better! It didn't die overnight. It only lost about 12% through the whole night. Thank you!
Is the procedure the same for the s7 and how do you do it on the fold 2? Is this something that should be done when ever there is a problem like this?

Retracting what I said above. There was a minor improvement, but I hadn't given it long enough. Still only holds a charge for may e 12 hours, at best.

Ok....I have done the wipe cache partition... I didn't see an "installing system update" message, but otherwise I was able to follow your crystal clear instructions. Thank you! I will post again once I have a chance to see if it works.
