Hi, all!

Very recently, I'd just purchased a brand new S10, last Friday. So far, I've been loving it. Amazing display, battery life, and camera. However, just today, while browsing through Instagram, my screen froze, I hear a loud continuous beep, and it powered off. I powered it back on, and everything seems to be fine. Is there anything I should be worried about, and has this happened to anyone else? Upon opening this app, I was notified that my phone had incorrectly crashed, and it asked to send the error long to Samsung, which I did. It's only happened once, so I'm assuming it might be a bug, but just wondering if I should be worried. Any reply helps, and thanks in advance!

Hey @BoardmanGetsPaid,

Hmm, I haven't seen this issue before... thanks for sending that error log in! If it's a cause for concern, the dev team will look into it and patch it in the next update 😊

Since everything seems to be fine on your phone, please keep monitoring it and let me know if it happens again. If it continues to be an issue, you can send me a private message through the web community (r1.community.samsung.com) and I'll get the service team involved!

By the way, nice username! #RaptorsWin 😂

Cheers,

Sabrina

That being the case - At the very least I'd suggest that you Wipe the Cache - It COULD however have been an issue with Instagram (I've heard fairly frequent complaints & issues with some 3rd party apps) 🐧

Boot into Recovery and Wipe Cache - Reboot

To Boot into Recovery:

Press & Hold Power + Bixby + Volume UP until you feel the phone vibrate - Release ALL Three buttons - Wait a few seconds until you see the Recovery Menu - Use the Volume button to Scroll down to Wipe Cache - Select with the Power button - Wait a few seconds until you see the Recovery Menu defaults back to Reboot now - Select with the Power button

Same thing happened with me today! My phone was at 51% as well and suddenly it produced a long horn like beep and crashed while I was scrolling through Instagram. I didn't get happened to it.
