Hello!

I have the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and I drive a 2017 Toyota Corolla CE.

After a background update on my phone, Bluetooth only plays music through my car and switches itself to the handset (earpiece) when I make a call using my car's phone system.

When I restart my phone in safe mode, the Bluetooth calls start working again, but otherwise, I can't get it to work at all, even when I reset my car radio system, reset my phone's network settings (deleted all of my Wi-Fi passwords and paired Bluetooth devices doing this), and even contacting Toyota.

It all ended up being my phone's Bluetooth.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Can we get an update for this, Samsung?

I have S23 Ultra and I am facing the same issue with my Toyota Corolla SE both 2017 and 2021 models.

Yeah, they fixed it and then broke it again. It's happening again to me too.

It seems like your Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is facing a Bluetooth issue after a recent update, affecting your car's phone system. Since the Bluetooth works in safe mode, an app or setting might be causing interference. Have you tried checking for any new software updates or patches for your phone? If you're also having issues with your car's Bluetooth system, you might want to visit a BMW workshop near me for expert advice on fixing vehicle Bluetooth connectivity. They could offer useful tips or diagnostics for resolving these types of issues.
