Call Forwarding Question

When I try and call a friend of mine the bottom of my screen says "call forwarded" for a few seconds and then my call goes straight to voicemail. I don't have call forwarding on and it's only saying "Call Forwarded" when I try and call 1 specific contact. Why could this be? Im using the S22 with Android 12.

I see it when someone calls.me it says call forwarded, I'm guessing to answering machine?
