as per title it keeps turning itself off, after turning it it on it would turn itself off within the next 30 minutes and I don't know why

I factory restored the phone, it worked for a day and it started doing it again

this feature was working fine when I had the s7 and I'm using all the same apps as before now on my s8

my best guess is an enabled permission is turning off this feature but what?

I noticed that as well actually. Worked flawlessly back when I had the Note 7 but just realized now that my last few scam calls have had the feature active. I'll do some digging unless someone else knows the issue.

Mine has been on since day one and had never turned off, I've had my S8+ for almost 2 months now.

Hey @lolo, if you've already tried a factory reset with no results, then I would suggest taking your device into your local Samsung Service Center (http://www.samsung.com/ca/support) so we can take a look.
