When I try to open Camera to take a photo I get a pop-up notice that asks, 'Allow camera to find, connect to, and determine the relative position of nearby devices?'

Allow

Don't allow

If I choose 'don't allow' then the camera app closes and I can't take a photo. Why should the camera absolutely insist that I allow the camera to 'find connect to and determine the relative position of nearby devices?' There is no reason except nefarious reasons I can think of. Samsung fix this.

The permission is for the use of Bluetooth Microphones, for video recording.

But yeah, I agree that it should not be necessary, Bluetooth Microphones, isn't necessarily something that everyone uses.

Ya, I disabled it. Using a different camera app. Ridiculous move by Samsung. I bought 3 Samsung phones in a row, might not do it again.

Hi Mark1,

That's really strange! We are sorry to see that you are facing this issue. Can you please let us know the model of your device.

As you have already disabled permission but still unable to use the Camera, try rebooting the device and check again.

Thank you.
