camera keeps crashing after the latest update

Hi, so I recently updated my s8+ but the camera keeps crashing and sometimes fails to store the taken images saying 'camera failed'

Any help please?

Does this also happens when you are not in Secure Folder?

not sure if it launches the secure folder camera
but it happens whenever I launch the camera ,even though I do it from the main screen

Try Clearing Cache & Data for the Camera & Reboot - Should fix the problem 🐧

You mean that it happened again AFTER you Cleared Cache & Data for the Camera?
If you have your pictures being saved to the external sd card - It could be the external sd card is damaged - corrupted etc...

If that's the case - Chan the storage location to the internal sd & test again AFTER Clearing Cache & Data for the Camera again...
If you don't continue to have issues with the camera using the internal sd - You should check the external sd card with your computer - You can Scan it & check for errors - You MIGHT be able to fix it? Good luck 🤞 🐧
