I have a Samsung S22 Ultra. My pictures are being saved in Heic format. How do I change to save as jpeg?

Go to the Camera Settings & Toggle Off High Efficiency Pictures.

Or, you could just rotate the image and take a screenshot, but the quality will of course not be the same, perfect for sending via text though as they are normally compressed anyway.

Thanks, I still need this app, thiugh, as most of my famiky use iphones and the photos they send me are usually HEIC.

I'm not sure why you need to convert HEIF to jpeg? If you're using Samsung's Gallery, you can view HEIF photos without using an image converter.

I'm using MyCloud for storage and for a while it didnt play nice when backing up the HEIC format. Their latest updates seems to have fixed this so I haven't used the app recently.

Hi, as suggested by the RedDogRabbit please, Open the camera app and go to settings; under the pictures section open Format and Advanced options and turn off HEIF pictures option.

You are saying that HEIF is off?

What makes you think that the Camera is taking pictures in HEIF then?
