Can't download PDF files.

Hey there !

I'm having issues downloading PDF files for example my Rogers bill from the app? It starts to download but shows me a unreadable binary file in the downloads forlder which i can't open. Installed Adode PDF reader but the problem still persists. How do I fix this?

did you try opening it with another app originally? if yes it might be trying to use that app to open the file. you must clear the default settings. go to settings > apps > application name, and click the "set as default" option to clear the default application. so for instance, if you tried to open a PDF originally with "Gallery" by mistake, you'd go to Settings > Apps > Gallery and click the set as default button

Hey Carr. Yes I tried doing what you suggested but it didn't work. I opened the PDF file from within Acrobat reader app and it worked. But still confused why does it not download properly as a PDF itself. Thanks for the help

have you tried to open Adobe PDF reader, and the tried to open the pdf file within Adobe Reader?

Hey Snow. Thanks a lot for your help and yes it worked. It opens from within the app but I'm just annoyed as to why does the file fails to be downloaded properly as a PDF itself directly and be opened directly.

Really helpful post. I agree with marine23 that pdfdrive is a great service out there. But some of the books are missing on pdfdrive. For example, I can't find heart bones on the pdf drive. So, I downloaded the heart bones pdf from pdfhour. It's another amazing forum to download pdf books.

Try using pdfmania, they offer convenient way of processing pdf files.
