S24 Ultra native Email app scrolling problem. Version 6.2.06.0

Everything was working a couple weeks ago in the Samsung Email app (not Gmail, not Outlook) but now I cannot scroll in an email when composing. It does scroll, but as soon as I take my finger off it automatically bounces back to where I was before. Really irritating.

I did clear the cache (Does that ever actually solve anything?) Nothing changed.

Anyone have this same problem?

Have the same issue. Can't see the email I am responding to as I am typing. Will not let me scroll down. Very frustrating

Same problem with us. Two Samsung phones, both doing the same thing. S20 and an S24 Ultra. Horribly frustrating!

Experiencing the same problem too! Tried looking for a fix and found this thread via google. The troubleshooting suggestions didn't work for me either.

I have the same problem. I tried all the suggested "fixes" and nothing worked. And, if you try saving your reply as a draft, and then re-open the email, it only scrolls once and then locks up again.

Same here. Today is Sunday Nov 23rd. Must be because of the update that came out this week.

@samsung please fix.

I have tried all the recommendations on my s21.  All up to date. No joy. For me the scrolling problem does not occur on a new email. It only occurs when I try to reply to an email I receive.  If I start a reply then save it to Drafts then reopen the draft the problem disappears.

Same scrolling problem. I spent an hour with the Samsung help folks and after going through all of their potential solutions (deleting cache/data, updates, removing/reloading app, etc, etc) the final recommendation was 'try again later'. I'll try a new app instead.

Hi there, I experienced similar problem. I would suggest go to apps, then show hidden or system apps and find Android System Webview and uninstall the updates, clear cache and restart. It worked for me like a magic. Please refer to complete guide in the below thread.

I just tried this solution and it did not work.

Samsung needs to fix this bug. Report in via their bug reporting facility.
