I just received my tab s7 and I want to connect it to the messaging on my s20 ultra. My tab s7 gives a QR code when I attempt to link the devices but when I scan it with s20 my phone says it doesn't have an app that can open the link. It opens samsung messenger and drops a CMC address but that's about it.

@Rico97   Try turning on sync on both devices and on your phone also turn on call and text on other devices and on your tablet your phone should be listed and turn it on all in the quick settings in pull down menu at the top of the screen on both devices and then it should work for you

And they both have to be signed in to your Samsung account

Hi, To make a call and send a text message, launch the Settings app, tap Advanced features, and then tap the Call & text on other devices switch to activate it.

You must register and sign in to the same Samsung account on your device and the other device. Some calling and messaging features may not be available.

You can select the call and text method. Select a SIM card or your connected device using the same Samsung account.

When I go to advanced features on my tablet the Call & Text on other devices is there but for some reason it is not an option within advance features on my phone. Is there a recent update that moved it on cell phones or some where else I can look for the Call & Text on other devices on my S20?

Update: it seems I don't have the feature on my phone due to the AT&T extortion business model for non-apple devices as they will happily add it only if I buy a service plan for my tablet. Thank you for your help.
