CSC change on S21

Tried changing the CSC on a Galaxy S21 using the keypad input method. Didn't work. This is a Canadian device purchased through Virgin Mobile.

So I tried a change on an S22 and if didn't work on it either.

Is this method of changing the CSC no longer valid?

Don't know, I've always used Odin to Flash the CSC, which never failed.

I was going to try SanFW but that software looks like malware. Never tried Odin for just the CSC but it worked as you stated.

samFW is a legitimate tool, but I prefer to use Frija for Firmware Downloads. 

I haven't used samFW, ever since Frija was developed, so other than saying that the version of samFW linked on XDA is legit, I can't really comment. 

Odin from Sammobile is the only source I'd trust for it, as I have heard that there are some sketchy versions of Odin out there.
