Dear Samsung, i have been searching to set my notifications tones so that i can select music for each individual notifications but unfortunately your set up only allows me to selct it for all notifications, plus the way of doing it isn t that easy compared to what it was in the past. Can you please maybe look into this & find us a way of doing so without it being compliant & haviyto go between multiple menus, i remember a time when it was as simple as clicking a + in the tones selection menu & you went & selected from your music file & could choose for what notifications you wanted wich song, example text is ine tone, email a different tone, & so on.
Now it seems that the more the devices advance they loose there simplicity. I really would like to see this feature return for the next update. I don't think anyone will complain about it. Give us some choices for our own selections not just what's pre installed. I am not a computer genius when things get to complex i get migraines. 😅

I just turned them on & i will be slowly going through my selections, now if only i could ad more music to my selections, I can't copy from a c.d my laptop is way to old, window's office from 2009, i have a micro sd with all my old ringtones but it's from 10 years ago on a different brand device, my computer couldn't even open the file. &;sinc Samsung didn't give us a micro sd port I can't transfer the music, i went to a freind for help but the file is to old for windows 11. & We always have to use third paty apps, it ***.

There is probably a folder where you can add your ringtones...if Zedge app does it it's probably easy...

Do you have the categories now??

The Zedge ringtones ares under internal storage/Notifications so I guess you can drag n drop there some mp3s

I have to go transfer what little music i have to the ringtones menu, i only wish i could go back to my old micro s.d, it's 15 year's old my music is in it, my laptop isn't reading it because the windows is to old & when my freind tried with windows 11 the files where to old to be read. So it ***. I can't afford to invest in my laptop, it needs physical upgrades to run windows 11 & even then, i would have to find a old Motorola phone from pre Lenovo to read it, then transfer to a thumb drive to hopefully upload to my friends pc to then laod into the phone, it's a old 32 gb micro sd card. If i could find a device without the need for third party app that can read & transfer the music it would be wonderful, but i don't think that's going to happen unless Samsung decided to create such a program & make it as a Samsung app you can install in your Samsung device. That would be something.

I watched the video (don't know why these people make videos that are five times longer than they have to be).

The different notifications that can be changed for an app is where the video showed. Interesting to know. Thanks for sharing the video.

On a side note, I see in my notification category for Google Messages I have a contact listed. Don't know why or how it goes in there, and I don't see how to remove the contact from there. Will have to look into it.
