CUSTOM TEXT NOTIFICATIONS no longer available; extremely disappointing!

Please bring back the option to have custom text notifications! I know there are very many people such as myself who rely on the custom text tones to know whether we need to answer a text immediately or not depending on who it is from. It's such a valuable function I was considering trading in my Samsung for an Android. However my son showed me I could install Nova Launcher on my phone and use their messaging system. It is, however, making me reconsider my loyalty to Samsung and consider switching to a different Android which is also less expensive. I have always been extremely loyal to Samsung ever since I've had a cell phone and I have recommended it to many people but the removal of this option is extremely disappointing and I hope you will restore this function very soon thank you.

it is back.. check the app store to see if there is a messages update

Click on the Contact that you want to assign a custom notification to - Click on Notification - Then Custom to set a unique notification sound for the contact - Also worth Searching BEFORE posting an issue - Custom Notifications has been back for a while now... 😉🐧

if you don't have the update in Galaxy apps, look for the latest version (5.0.21. *** ) of samsung msgs at apkmirror
