Galaxy SI don’t understand what’s happening with Samsung.
I used to have a Samsung S23 Ultra — it worked flawlessly and performed beautifully, although I didn’t like the design. So I decided to buy the Samsung S25 Ultra, and unfortunately, it has been a big disappointment.
1. Camera quality:
The camera on the S25 Ultra is significantly worse than on the S23 Ultra. I don’t understand why a downgrade was made when the previous version performed so well.
2. Battery life:
After the most recent update, the battery lasts only 3–4 hours per day. Before the update, it could run for up to 9 hours without issue. This drastic reduction makes the device nearly unusable.
3. Battery drain:
The battery now drains at a rate similar to that of an iPhone, which is extremely disappointing for a flagship Samsung device. I expect much better battery optimization from the Ultra series.
4. Notification issues:
Notifications still do not arrive properly. This issue has persisted, and it is surprising that such a critical problem hasn’t been resolved through a software update. Previous Samsung devices did not have this issue.
5. Battery icon visibility:
The battery icon and percentage are almost invisible against the background, just like on the iPhone. Please restore the old battery indicator design that was clear and easy to see.
I have followed all the recommendations shared by your community experts, including Helen's instructions on clearing cache and adjusting system settings. Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the problems.
At this point, I am extremely disappointed with the experience. I sincerely hope your team can review these concerns and provide a timely and effective solution — ideally through a future software update.
I’m extremely disappointed.

Galaxy SCheck which apps are using the most battery. I've found one that was killing my battery after an update and had to revert to a previous version.

Galaxy SHi VadimOlga,
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us. We truly understand your frustration, and we're sorry to hear that your experience with the Galaxy S25 Ultra hasn’t met expectations.
Our development team is actively reviewing camera feedback to fine-tune performance via future software updates. In the meantime, please try resetting camera settings under Camera > Settings > Reset settings.
A sudden drop in battery life after an update is not expected. We appreciate you for trying the recommended steps — if the issue persists, we recommend submitting an error report via the Samsung Members app (Samsung Members > Support > Error reports > Battery). This will allow our team to analyze background activity and provide targeted support.
Reliable notifications are essential, and we apologize for the disruption. If you haven’t already, please check Settings > Battery and device care > Background usage limits, and ensure your frequently used apps are not restricted. A full diagnostics check in Samsung Members > Support > Diagnostics may also help pinpoint the cause.
We appreciate your design feedback. UI elements, including the battery indicator, are continuously evaluated based on user input. Your suggestion to restore the previous battery style has been noted and will be shared with our development team.
Please rest assured that your concerns are being taken seriously. We value your loyalty and will continue working to deliver improvements through ongoing updates.
