So, 43 Days after order I am at "Preparing for Dispatch" for 06 Days!

All the excitement, all the plans with this new device are gone. Its more like, "Just give me the phone" now! Never thought the experience for pre-ordering from so called "Best Company" for their "Flagship" phone will be that painful! Had pre-ordered before and received on time but in a different Country, Different Continent!

Samsung Canada, I have never seen more unprofessional team before in all these years of using Samsung Note (From Note-II to be precise). I am now really worried about the Samsung care+ that I purchased with phone. If support is also the same then all those money are thrown in Ottawa River I guess.

I just replied to the lame $50 voucher email that many of us got & asked where my phone is. I know, I know.. it's just going to result in more frustration because they'll lie or give some stupid excuse but this time im not accepting it. I want answers. This is bs. I ordered on Feb 21st so I'm still a bit behind many of you but we all PRE ORDERED & should all have our orders by now. There is no excuse for any of us to be sitting in preparing dispatch for more than 3 days max & with NO updates!! Samsung..you **bleep**! I'll NEVER pre-order order anything from you again!

Hi, we were expecting inventory to arrive in our Canadian warehouse.

However due to overwhelming success of our new product launch, we have been impacted, therefore still waiting on many models to arrive.

At this time, I wish I could give you a firm date, but unfortunately I do not have a confirmed time frame for your order.

Again I apologize for the delay, however, as soon as we receive the inventory, we will be shipping out your order as soon as possible.

I can appreciate your frustration and disappointment.

We do appreciate your purchase and are aware that you want to be able to receive it.

Again, please watch for your tracking email from us.

Thank you for your patience.

It's really an "overwhelming success" if you can't deliver what people paid for & when they paid for it.

Samsung should know what it's in stock inventory is at any given time.

Continuing to take people's money, when there is no available inventory, is an overwhelming failure.

The result of which, is all these, unhappy -> Angry posts.

Has "overwhelming success" replaced "wipe cache", as Samsung Canada's number one catchphrase?

Samsung does understand, that the consumer does not give a tinker's cuss how successful sales are, if it means that they don't get what they paid for in a reasonable amount of time?

Samsung really needs to think about not processing any payment, until they are ready to actually SHIP the product.

Exactly. I don't give a **bleep** how successful or failure the phone is. I want my order on time for which I have paid 2000+bucks in advance. If you can not deliver that on time, properly communicate by email and give a date which works. Bot replies, copy paste replies do not do any good.

Its not your fault @Helenna & I realize that youre just doing your job (if youre even a person) but getting that same answer over & over again is just unacceptable now. Truth is..I didn't even need to read what's written there because like you, I've now got it memorized.

I really don't care about the overwhelming success of the new product launch because in my opinion, this launch has been anything but successful for the loyal customers who wanted the product the most...so much so that they pre-ordered in good faith that pre-odering meant they'd have their hands on their device ahead of the majority.
IMO..Samsung should've been far better prepared to fufill at least 75% of these pre-orders before the pre-ordering window even closed as i find it very hard to believe that there's not some highly paid samsung employee that cant forecasts anticipated product sales within 75% of actual sales.
Besides that, the exclusive colour pre-orders are already well past the additional 4 week window that Samsung themselves said it would take in the email that I still have. It actually states word for word.."Please allow UP TO 4 weeks for delivery"
But here we all are..still waiting...week 5, week 6.. Some at 7 weeks who still have no clue where their phone is, no set date & still can't get a straight answer from Samsung.

& that takes me to this..Samsung desperately needs to work on their customer service & stop lying to their loyal customers about their order statuses because as posted all over these forums...Samsung has accumulated quite the collection of disgruntled, unhappy & unsatisfied customers mainly due to how poor communication from Samsung has been thru this entire fiasco

This company owes all of us still waiting a clear cut & personalized explanation.

Before I go, I do want to ask...Why is it that no one that works for Samsung can pull up customer orders & give a confirmed time frame? Ive never heard of that even in small businesses. Sorry but I just find it extremely hard to believe that at a company as large as Samsung they don't keep track of every single item that is manufactured & sold & I highly doubt with items in the $1500-$2000 range that they don't know EXACTLY where the items are at all times.

Also, what exactly does preparing dispatch mean to Samsung? Because in general, one would assume that it means that their item is about to be labeled & shipped to their door. However, with Samsung that doesn't appear to be the case.
What exactly triggers samsungs online ordering system to update an order to preparing dispatch? 🤔

I agree with everything you said. The people who pre-ordered were the biggest fans who were willing to pay in full up front for it. To screw them when anyone who walks into a retail store today can walk out with one is just a huge slap in the face. I pre-ordered just after the announcement. And yet I have no idea and no one can give me a definitive answer when I can expect to receive the phone even though it is preparing for dispatch, which in the case of Samsung means they are still waiting for it in the Canadian warehouse or who knows where it is. No other company gives that kind of status to an order and then tell us they don't have it in the warehouse awaiting shipment.

That's the same answer... when will it arrive?

Brantley gave the same response.
