Yay!  Finally!  Well, not so fast.  I only got the email from Samsung moments ago that "Your Galaxy S22 Ultra (Online Exclusive) has shipped to you".  I clicked on the FedEx tracking link that indicated my order was picked up just before 1pm in Mississauga.  It is stated it's a FedEx Priority Overnight and I trust that FedEx will be trustworthy about that delivery time even though I'm in BC.  The scheduled delivery is expected to be before 5pm tomorrow.  I'm crossing my fingers but am VERY hopeful that I will get it.

Again, the details for everyone else who will find this useful for their own expectations.

Pre-ordered Feb 9th.

Status of "Arrives on" March 3rd (what a joke)

"Preparing Dispatch" March 23 around 9:30am PT (42 days)

Samsung Canada email arrived around 4:30pm PT with FedEx tracking link. (48 days) (6 days from Preparing dispatch)

If I get the order tomorrow, it will have taken 49 days from the day of the "pre-order" to when I finally receive it.  I am hopeful and optimistic but, given all the lies and excuses I have been told throughout these 48 days so far,  you can't expect me to not be a bit leery.

However, while typing up this post, I got an automated call from FedEx with info on my shipment stating that they require someone at the door to sign for the package with details about the tracking number.  So, that makes it very reassuring.

Sigh.  If only Samsung Canada had been much more upfront and transparent from the beginning rather than give me excuses, apologies and scripted responses of non-answers, I may have been more excited.

Fingers crossed.

I will update tomorrow if and when I get my phone with the accessories.

I hope the rest of you all will get yours soon.  I feel for you all.  Thanks to everyone for being so supportive.  It was so nice to know that I wasn't alone in the frustration.  Here's to hoping that future posts from me will be about the phone itself instead of rants and complaints.

I just noticed in the email "Samsung.com exclusive colours need special production. Please allow up to 6-7 weeks for delivery."  Uh, okay.  Even with this, I am meeting the 7 weeks from the pre-order.   I don't remember them ever mentioning this long of a delay when we first pre-ordered or even during the online pre-order process.  Someone mentioned the 3-4 weeks which I didn't believe but 3-4 weeks looks so good now.  It's 7 weeks.  I hope no one has to wait any longer than 7 weeks.  This is insane!

Thank you kindly macer1 ! 😏 👊🏻

Glad you'll be receiving yours soon ! 👏🏻

NOTE: It arrived in a fairly sizeable box with only a bit of paper tossed in for 'cushioning'. Because it wasn't bubble wrapped the corner of the actual phone box is slightly 'punched-in'. You would think that a phone costing over 2 Grand 💰 would be packaged a bit better ! 🙄
Just sayin'. . . 🤔

thankful for these threads... been waiting and waiting, and i didn't realize it before (i've been a loyal samsung customer for years and own 12 different samsung products and appliances!) samsung website and customer service are terrible. 4 hour wait - to chat with someone?! "live chat" haha thankfully everyone on here has taken time to update on their own preorder statuses. My account on samsung.ca is a complete mess - shows my current phone as being purchased twice, doesn't list the new phone and my order not available to view in my account. Hoping i'll be happy with the new phone but this could be it for me and Samsung (ie me and my samsung phone(s), galaxy buds, galaxy watch, 2 samsung tvs, samsung fridge, samsung stove, samsung dishwasher, samsung microwave, and my samsung laptop. Why i have been so devoted to this brand is beyond me given how this prepurchase has been fumbled. can't even buy a samsung case through samsung.ca. given a credit due to the delay that i can't use anywhere. Not impressed, Samsung. I won't be doing this again.

Finally!  My order has ARRIVED!!!!! OMG!!! I didn't think this would finally happen!  A tad late past lunch shortly before 2pm, I watched as the FedEx van (more like an SUV. It looks like it was contracted out) drove up and I was waiting at the door.  He didn't need a signature apparently but just my first initial and last name.  I guess in the age of Covid-19, they don't want anyone touching their stylus to sign their devices.

3TimeSurvivor, unlike yours where you got some paper for cushioning, there was no such thing.  Just my charger, my case and the phone.  I guess they figured that the air inside was enough to cushion it.  Oh, and the packing slip.

Anyway, I'm happy.  Got to get charging up the phone.
