Day-06 of "Preparing Dispatch"

So, 43 Days after order I am at "Preparing for Dispatch" for 06 Days! 

 

All the excitement, all the plans with this new device are gone. Its more like, "Just give me the phone" now! Never thought the experience for pre-ordering from so called "Best Company" for their "Flagship" phone will be that painful! Had pre-ordered before and received on time but in a different Country, Different Continent!

 

Samsung Canada, I have never seen more unprofessional team before in all these years of using Samsung Note (From Note-II to be precise). I am now really worried about the Samsung care+ that I purchased with phone. If support is also the same then all those money are thrown in Ottawa River I guess.

So, does that mean that even if the status says "Preparing dispatch" that the smartphones were not even in the Canadian warehouse?  So we were again misled about this.  Most of us would have expected that when the status changed from "Processing" to "Preparing dispatch" that it means that the product is ready to be dispatched and shipped out.  How is it possible that the status would be changed to preparing dispatch if the product isn't even there?

I am just shaking my head about this.  So many people who got the dispatch status posted that it took about 2-3 days before they received the FedEx email.  Now even at day 6, we are now told it could take longer.  Rather than getting better with time, the process is getting worse.

Can this get any more frustrating?  Don't answer that because I can imagine the answer.

There's a "PRIORITY" criteria and a "NONPRIORITY" as we came to know from the forum.  Please don't ask me how it was set but we are the "NONPRIORITY" group of people it seems!

I got the Samsung Canada email with FedEx tracking.  It's arriving tomorrow via Overnight Priority.  I'm in BC.

Yep! Graphite.  You'd think it's practically a default colour that it shouldn't have taken this long.

LOL!  Yeah, with any other brand, model, the colour Graphite/grey or similar would be the default colour.  And yet, Samsung makes it an "exclusive" (oooh) colour.  And for that, me, being stupid, thinking that it was a regular default colour would likely get it sooner.  Nooooo.  I find myself in the back of the line because I ordered a customized exclusive colour phone.

Hindsight is 20/20 they say.  If I knew on Feb 9th what I know now, I would have just walked up to a retail store and bought it on Feb 25 or shortly thereafter instead of this pre-order mess.

Yes, I feel stupid.  Sigh.  We live and learn.
