I liked what Mark did with his updates on the whereabouts of his phone so I decided to do the same. It helped me form a timeframe for my order so I thought I could help others too by doing it as well.
So, I came back to update you guys with my order status and some things I noticed, even though nobody asked.
I noticed that Samsung, as much as they lie, have actually been accurate when they say that a exclusive colour order will take 6-7 weeks to arrive. I went through tens upon tens of posts through this forum and on Reddit and found that most orders for these exclusive colours are fulfilled within 46-48 days from the initial order date, which is what Samsung says.
However, I wish they told us this from the start, I would have been perfectly fine waiting. Except they didn't they said it would take 4 weeks and this pissed people off.
Seeing the delivery date fly by and the status of the order not changing without any update is a cause of concern for anyone, and when they voice their concerns they are met with copy/paste responses. Hopefully they learn from this and AT LEAST give accurate information, or at least compensate somehow as promises were broken. Just wanted to add that 1.5 weeks ago a CS Rep. told me that my phone is in a warehouse and will arrive at my house in 2 days 😂, that gave me a good laugh.
OKAY SO, about my order. It is day 34 and I should, THEORETICALLY (I have a PhD in the Applied Mathematics of Samsung) receive the phone either on the 13th or 20th of April. I will keep you guys posted as I am fairly certain I will receive it either on or between those dates. I will also give you guys photos of the device from every angle imaginable, as I haven't seen a lot of that.
