Hey samuel462,
Developer options on your Galaxy phone contain tools and settings that are useful when developing apps. It lets you configure system behaviors to improve app performance.

Note: The usage of developer options is not supported by Samsung and may have an effect on your phone’s performance.

Because they are advanced settings that most customers don’t normally need or use, the Developer options are hidden by default. To access all the hidden settings, you have to turn it on. Remember, you should only use Developer mode if you are familiar with Android app development.

to say you don't support a feature (hidden or not) that is available in every single Samsung device out there... strange.

the bug report option is an excellent feature that Samsung support is probably unaware of -

Here's everything that is in Dev Options on my S20 Ultra.

Hopefully the screen shot isn't too bad?

You'll rarely need to use Dev Options, but there are instances where it can be useful.

To enable Developer Options, go to settings & About Phone > Software Information & Click on the Build Number 7 times.

I dont think so. We use it when transferring information from not samsung devices through our transfer program if we absolutely have to use it.

Enabling Dev Options DEFINITELY does NOT void the warranty. Neither does Flashing Samsung Firmware with Odin.
