The north American models have software lock to prevent dual SIM capabilities. If you get the non NA version you get dual SIM but those phone will have NA 5G bands locked. So you will not get 5G but you will have dual SIM. Not sure why the do it this way.

You should be able to use one physical sim and one e-sim.

Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager > Add eSIM.

Your phone doesn't support Dual Physical SIM, but you can use one Physical SIM & one eSIM.

Only one sim and an e-sim, I have it inside my s23 ultra from bell, work well but not 2 chip! You could transfer your service to the e-sim and use a different physical sim

Hi FilipeCarrilho, as suggested by the RedDogRabbit you can use one Physical SIM & one eSIM. Also please follow the below link to learn more about it.

If it's a Canadian S23, ie: SM-S911W then it has a SIM card slot for one Physical SIM & eSIM.

You can ask your service provider to set up an e sim card for you once you provide the EID, and then you will scan a qr code to initiate an e-sim card from the add esim card options1705331059935.jpg1705331059954.jpg

Yes, I know how it works, but thanks.

I was just stating that if the OP's device (SM-S911W) is a Canadian model (which it should be since they purchased it from Telus), that it has a SIM card slot for one Physical SIM & it also has eSIM.

I know that my S23 Ultra has the same SIM setup as their S23.

In my case, I just need to use the QR Code included with my device to activate the eSIM.
