Hey there,

So a long time ago, I was messing with my device in the clear cache partition area of android and stumbled upon something known as device encryption. I toggled it and ever since, whenever I reset my phone, it forced me to use my pin and says, "You're device is encrypted for security"

I want to untoggle it, please help

Thanks

EDIT:

Thank you to @Chmultimedia and @GG2 for your help. I thought I toggled the problem from somewhere else but it ended to be from biometrics and security. Thanks!

Not sure but i think this is what you're looking for.
Settings>Biometrics and security>Secure start up> Do not require > Apply> enter pin or password to confirm.

oops.. CH was faster than me.

I would like to add more information to this.
If your device is S10 then you can find the settings by following the below.
Settings >> Biometrics and security >> Other security settings >> Strong protection(Toggle off) >> Enter your PIN, Password, or Pattern when prompted to confirm.
