Galaxy SHello everyone
I recently updated my Galaxy S22 and have noticed some changes in battery performance. I'm reaching out to see if anyone else is experiencing similar issues or if it's just me. Have you noticed any improvements or declines in your battery life after the latest software update? Are there specific settings or apps that you found to be particularly draining or efficient afterwards? Additionally, does anyone have tips on optimizing battery performance on the S22 post-update?
Regards: www.concretesrichmondva.com
Thanks!

Galaxy SHi Brentrivera,
Thank you for reaching out! We understand your concern regarding battery performance after the recent update on your Galaxy S22.
Here are some steps you can take to optimize your battery performance.
Adjust Battery Settings: Battery Saver: Turn on Power Saving Mode in Settings > Battery to limit background activities.
Background Apps: Monitor apps consuming excessive power through Settings > Battery > Battery usage. You can restrict or optimize the apps that are draining power.
Display Adjustments: The screen is often the most power-hungry component: Enable Adaptive Brightness or switch to Low Brightness.
If possible, reduce your screen's Motion Smoothness to 60Hz (under Settings > Display).
Check for Background Processes: Make sure unnecessary features like Location Services, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi are turned off when not in use. You can manage which apps are allowed to run in the background by going to Settings > Apps, selecting the app, and checking its battery usage under the Battery section.
Device Care: Run the Battery Optimizer in Settings > Battery and Device Care to ensure that your phone is running at peak efficiency.
Thank you.
