Why is face recognition grey out has for lock screen option? S21 Ultra w/ android 13.

The only other thing i can think of and i remember reading that somewhere is if you have a corporate/company email, admins can block or not allow some functions. If it was working before and you tried @RedDog's solution, i have no other clue.

I do have a work profile on my phone. Ill remove it this weekend and see if that solve the problem

Yup removed my work profile and was then able to toggle in the face recognition button.

Try going to settings > security > biometrics > face recognition > a d enable the option , it does same the option in lock screen, face unlockScreenshot_20221126_014402_Settings.png

Yes, by removing the work profile, I was then able to toggle on the face recognition.
